Location: The Knights of Columbus building at Saint Rose in Newtown, CT, located at 46 Church Hill Road; behind Saint Rose church to the far left. The building has 3 garage doors on the first floor with the meeting room upstairs. The entrance is at the door to the left front of the building.

Topic: “The Advanced Resume”
This workshop will provide an overview of resume writing for the current job market with a focus on creating a compelling Profile / Summary that reflects a strong personal brand, Quantifiable Accomplishments, & Industry-related Keywords. The different resume formats will be reviewed as well as the important connection between resumes and LinkedIn.
Michael Shavel is a Career Counselor with the CT Dept of Labor where he has been employed for the past 24 years. He is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Certified Professional Resume Writer. Michael enjoys providing career counseling and job search assistance to a wide variety of job seekers from entry level to upper management.
