High Voluntary Tech Turnover

In a recent Dice report (see full article below) technology professionals voluntarily leaving their positions has been on the upward trend over recent years. Although this is a headache for HR and managers, it does reflect professionals being confident enough in the job market to move around- especially for those with in-demand skills sets.
Based on this data, this might be why we see a heavy shift towards contract and contract to hire opportunities- lessening the risk from a HR perspective on permanent hires.
